Viral Marketing: Donate Your PC to Solar Science?

IBM and Harvard are cooperating on an R&D project (and PR campaign), asking you to donate your PC's cpu to them on off hours. This is all aimed at seeking the ultimate physical materials to improve the conversion efficiency of photovoltaic cells.
Part of the IBM-sponsored World Community Grid project, project leaders claim that one million people are already participating in this.
